Adorable toddlers

After a particularly stressful morning at school Daisy and I were not in a particularly good mood. We had had to teach some horribly behaved children (one of the learners actually jumped out the window half way through the lesson) and were faced with teaching another, equally badly behaved class.

Walking back to the school we were both muttering about how much we hated children and how they were all horrible and how we had the worse children in Namibia. But then we saw a little boy and girl wandering around. The girl was clutching some sweets and giggling, the little boy running and skipping after her. They were truly adorable.

I took a couple of photos of them, and while the girl posed with more attitude that most of the secondary children, the little boy just stared into the camera, a little smile on his lips.

Looking at the photos later I commented to Daisy that it was a shame that the little boy had snot across his face as it was such a lovely photo. But she pointed out that its little things like that which make a photo so much more realistic. I realised two things. One, (for once) Daisy was completely right - the photo of the little boy was probably the most natural I've taken out here. And two, in a way, it completely sums up Tses, and our project. Things never turn out the way we expect them to, but we so far we've always gotten there in the end - even if the end result isn't quite what we wanted!
