Marking party

Setting projects in BIS and Arts seemed like a good idea until we realised that we had to mark work collected in from twelve different classes (6 BIS lessons and 6 arts lessons). Faced with such a stressful task the decision was made that alcohol was necessary. From there the idea arose of turning the marking into a drinking game, and so we invited Anne and Ruben to come over, as well as Michael, one of the secondary teachers.
Unsurprisingly the marking aspect of the evening was soon forgotten. Instead we played a rather violent game of 'spoons' - I discovered that I had a talent for grabbing a spoon while simultaneously chucking another two over at the other side of the room!

Eventually we moved onto ring of fire - it was made exceedingly difficult due to a rule banning the use of anyone's name. Unfortunately this (and many more aspects of the game) was not something that Michael was able to comprehend and he continually had to drink far more than anyone else and eventually lost the game.

We also played 'never have I ever' (although we quickly realised that the rules of this game seemed to be different in our different countries). As ever it was an eye opening experience!
