Etosha guest farm

We stayed at  an amazing guest farm, 60km south of Etosha National Park. It was an incredible place which really showed the meaning of 'glamping'. It was an absolutely incredible place, with a view that stretched for kilometres.

We stayed there for two days. On the first day we went and visited a cheetah sanctuary. We had wanted to do it while at the stud farm, but we had been warned by the owners that it wasn't a very good place to go. But when the owners of the Etosha guest farm heard about this, they told us about a local farm that we could go and visit.

So the owner of the Guest farm took us there. We saw cheetahs, hyenas, leopards, wild cats and some other animals that I can't actually name. We got a tour and even got to feed the animals which was incredible. It was strange to hear a cheetah whining in the same way that an average house cat does when it wants food. And of course, thanks to my amazing camera and extra big lense, I had the opportunity to take some really good photos.

The second day we had a tour around Etosha. This basically consisted of about eight hours of constant driving around the park, searching for animals. We actually managed to see quite a lot of animals: lions, giraffes, warthogs, kudu, oryx, zebra, ostriches, wilderbeast. Unfortunately we didn't manage to see any elephants but, oh well, it was an incredible day :) Since I took so many photos I'm going to do a new post of just photos from Etosha :)
